Ouse Fen - juv PECTORAL SANDPIPER on 'Sophie's pool' to 09:30h at least. Access along Fen End Road from Over, go past first pools on the left to view the next large pool, where the bird is favouring the north-east corner and showing well (Richard Thomas); chased off by a Merlin late afternoon and lost to view in flight high to the north-west. Also Green Sandpiper, 20+ Corn Buntings, 4 Hobbies, Peregrine, 5 Buzzards (Andy Cotton)
