SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Kingfisher's Bridge - CATTLE EGRET 08:40h (Owen Marks). From A1123 take track on opposite side of road from Upware Road, and park in car park before farm (signed on right). Then follow path west past farm to view from viewing mounds/hides. DO NOT park in farm or along other roads.

Cam Washes - CATTLE EGRET 15:00-15:20h at least, with Canada Geese opposite Kingfisher's Bridge (David Elliott)
