Ouse Washes - Juv. female NORTHERN HARRIER flew south past Stockdale's Hide at 14:00h, showing well from Stockdale's Hide 15:00h (Richard Patient, Mark Hawkes); hunting about 1/2 mile south of railway, viewable from bend in B1411, at 16:15h (Mark Eaton); the bird went to roost as did 13+ Marsh Harrier, ringtail Hen Harrier, 2 Short-eared Owl, 2 Barn Owl (Mike Burdekin)

Grafham Water - Wheatear (Richard Palmer); ad Mediterranean Gull, 2 Black-necked Grebe, Arctic Tern, 5+ Yellow-legged Gull (Richard Patient, Mark Hawkes); LONG-TAILED DUCK still (rarebirdalert.com)

Little Eversden - GREAT GREY SHRIKE nearby, in a patch of scrub on the bridlepath leading from Little Eversden village (by the phone box on Harlton Road) leading up the hill to the Mare way track on the ridge; approx. TL369522. Birders visiting the area please keep to public rights of way, respect local residents and the local farming community (as per Louise Bacon)
